hospitality. BASIC FUNCTION: The Hotel Maintenance Technician I
will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying
and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include
performing various work order tasks and preventive maintenance on
property equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Perform general
maintenance duties on properties. * Responsibilities include
standard guest room maintenance. * Painting, filter changing of
HVAC systems and pool equipment. * Pool chemical monitoring and
pool maintenance. * Tennis court maintenance. * Clearing
condensation and plumbing fixture drain lines. * Snow removal. *
Completing daily infrastructure check out sheets and identifying
issues to report back to the department for correction * Assist
lead techs with property upgrades and repairs. * Must be able to
lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
on a frequent basis * Physical duties require a full range of
physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically powered
tools and test equipment. * Climbing stairs, operating snow removal
equipment and machinery are frequent tasks. * Focus on customer
needs and customer satisfaction. * Projects a positive customer
service environment to both internal and external customers. *
Promotes and encourages an attitude of exemplary customer service
and high integrity to all the staff within Facilities Management. *
Contributes to the overall success of the Facilities Maintenance
Department by performing other essential duties and
responsibilities as assigned. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: * Respond to any
reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. * No on call
hours. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK
EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma/equivalent; vocational/technical
training preferred. * Valid Driver's license is required. OTHER: *
This is a 2nd shift position. A mixed schedule will be required
with flexibility of the team to cover all shifts. * Weekend and
