About the Opportunity Summary and Responsibility The Department
of Music in the College of Arts, Media and Design, Northeastern
University seeks a part-time instructor to teach courses on a
variety of Music related topics. Qualifications PhD is preferred or
equivalent professional experience. Previous teaching experience at
the college level and a broad knowledge of Humanities is highly
desirable. Please note: applications for the spring 2026 semester
are currently being reviewed. Northeastern University will not

sponsorship for the successful applicant to this position, now or
in the future. Furthermore, the successful applicant must be able
to maintain valid work authorization in the United States
throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University’s

Pay Range: The rate per credit is $2085.
