About the Opportunity About the Opportunity: The Department of
Communication Sciences and Disorders seeks part-time instructors to
teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Instructors may
supervise graduate students in related clinical practice in the
on-campus Speech- Language and Hearing Center. Responsibilities :
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: development
of course materials, lectures, and laboratory experiences;
administration of lectures and examinations; and evaluation of
student performance. Part-time instructors may work under the
direction of Lead Faculty for some courses and will hold office
hours to meet with students as appropriate. Qualifications : Degree
of Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or closely
related field, is preferred but not required. M.S./M.A. in
Speech-Language Pathology, or closely related field is required.
ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology is required for
teaching certain courses and for any course that requires clinical
supervision of students. For such courses a MA license in the
relevant practice area is required. Preferred Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have prior college teaching experience
in a higher education institution and experience with clinical

Pay Range: The rate per credit is $2085
