You'll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. Responsibilities:

Manage other maintenance requests as required
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they're operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
--- Work on the interior and the exterior of the property to ensure proper maintenance
--- Complete guestroom work orders in a prompt and efficient manner
--- Perform repairs on heating, cooling, and plumbing
--- Respond quickly and professionally to guest needs
--- Perform painting tasks including: patching drywall, caulking, cosmetic touch-ups
--- Deliver and/or remove furnishings from rooms as needed
--- Routinely participate in preventative maintenance programs
--- Complete daily assigned responsibilities and provide guests with excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Over 2 years of maintenance experience
Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
--- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
--- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
--- Previous hotel/building experience a plus
