break the cycle of young adult homelessness by equipping young
adults with the job and financial security they need to establish

Program Overview
Breaktime's core program is three-pronged-Launchpad, Liftoff, and
Stable Orbit-with Launchpad as our Young Adults' (Associates) entry
point. Launchpad is a facilitated curriculum centered on
Breaktime's 6 Essentials of Success (Attendance, Punctuality,
Communication, Engagement, Professionalism, and being Equipped),
providing introductory education on professional development,
financial empowerment, and personal growth. Launchpad is currently
offered in person at our Boston office, externally via a Satellite
partner organization, or virtually on two nights a week over six
weeks.
Role Overview:
The Training Coordinator (TC) is a passionate, driven, and empathic
individual who will primarily co-facilitate Breaktime's Launchpad
Curriculum and support other training team projects. The TC will
co-facilitate the Launchpad Curriculum across modalities -
in-person, virtually, and as we expand Breaktime's geographical
reach (satellite locations in various parts of MA). Please note
that the virtual Launchpad is run during evening hours (12:45-8:45
pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 6 weeks) and is offered 3-4 times a
year at this time, with the potential for more frequent
offerings.
Reports to: Senior Manager of Training
Roles and Responsibilities
Primary Duties
Facilitate 15-50% of Breaktime's Launchpad programming in support
of the Senior Training Coordinator.
Support associates in adhering to Breaktime and Programs-specific
policies, including opportunities for Associates to make up
work.
Serve as the point of contact for Associates to coordinate
logistics (e.g., call-outs, scheduling make-ups) during
Launchpad.
Maintain Associate electronic records by documenting case notes,
surveys, and other data in Salesforce.
Support implementation of program modifications for virtual
classroom settings and satellite Launchpads.
Facilitate occasional workshops in the Flight Boosters
programming.
Broader Training Team Responsibilities
Support the expansion and maintenance of partnerships for the
training team, including nonprofit, government, and corporate
partners.
Collaborate on cross-departmental initiatives.
Contribute to the Training team's efforts to update and implement
curriculum changes.
Support Flight Booster programming as needed.
Other administrative and research duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant
work experience; Associate's degree in a related field and at least
1 year of relevant work experience; or Bachelor's degree in a
related field (e.g. Education, Social Work/Human Services,
Counseling/Psychology, Youth Development/Non-profit Management,
Public Health)
At least 1 year of experience working with young adults and/or
individuals experiencing homelessness, or equivalent lived
experience navigating housing insecurity.
A clear, unwavering commitment to elevating the power and potential
of Young Adults.
Demonstrated ability to model Breaktime's 6 Essentials of Success
and coach Young Adults to practice these skills.
Strong facilitation skills with the capacity to manage group
interactions and provide targeted, individualized coaching
support.
Stellar time-management skills and proven ability to work
independently to complete tasks.
Strong conflict resolution skills, particularly with Young Adults,
to support the practice of compassionate accountability.
Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort when speaking to
various stakeholders (Young Adults, colleagues across departments,
and organizational partners).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving
environment.
Experience with various technologies, including Google Workspace,
Slack, video conferencing, Learning Management Systems (LMS),
Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and audience response
systems, is a plus.
Preferred - Ability to travel to various sites throughout Eastern
Massachusetts. A car and a driver's license.
Preferred - 2 years of previous facilitation/classroom
experience.
Experience with various technologies, including Google Workspace,
Slack, video conferencing, Learning Management Systems (LMS),
Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and audience response
systems, is a plus.
