be responsible for leading a team of 10 APPs in the Ellison 14
Multispecialty ICU. They will collaborate with the ICU's medical
and nursing leadership to address all APP-related issues, including
staffing, education, and quality and safety. The Ellison 14 ICU is
a high-acuity, mixed surgical and medical intensive care unit that
also serves as the primary ICU for burn patients at MGH.

The APP is responsible for the assessment and management of various
populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including
diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of
appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. The APP Lead will
perform additional leadership duties on the team/department through
indirect management of other Advanced Practice Providers and/or
Allied Health Professionals.

Experience
4-6 Years of experience as an APP required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition
and interpret findings.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency
situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and
procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective
working relationships with patients, medical staff and the
