Job Description:
Purpose: The recruits volunteers for UUA Board-appointed Committees and for elected committees when there is a mid-term vacancy.Key Responsibilities:
- Publicize committee openings (volunteer opportunities)
- Interview volunteers
- Check references
- Communicate with committee chairs
- Communicate with the Board
- Communicate with the Nominating CommitteeSkills Needed:
Communication skills, teamwork, follow-through, reliability,
self-directed, discretion.Length of Term: 2 years, with up to 3
renewals, for a total of 8 years.Meetings: 2 in-person meetings;
others via Zoom as needed; attendance at GA expected.Length of
Meetings: Winter: 2 days; GA: 1 day; others: 1-2 hours.
