Job Description:
TheEmergency Department Unit Clerks in consultation and
collaboration with theEmergency Department Registered Nurse and
Physician, is responsible forassisting the Health Care team with
the clerical, computerized ordering anddata collecting, billing,
effective communicating, and being receptive to allexternal and
internal customers request.Qualifications
Required:ExcellentInterpersonal Skills. Comfortable with computer
usage, medical terminology, andcustomer service. Able to
concentrate on moderate detail with constantinterruption; able to
attend to task function from 20 45 minutes or more at atime; able
to remember multiple tasks/assignments given to self and
othersduring course of shift; able to communicate verbally and in
written work usingcorrect medical terminology.Previous patient care
clerical experienceHigh School diplomaor equivalency preferred.
