Other duties may be assigned.Front End Development:Build reusable code and libraries for future useEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityEdit technical specification, test, and deploy new features, interactions, and toolsEnhance and improve website search functionalityPerform website maintenance. Activities include:Fix 404 error pagesFix issues encountered by team across the site as they ariseUpdate plugins and tools as needed (i.e. calculators, SiteImprove, etc.)Fix alignment and CSS issues across websitesUser Experience:Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.Facilitate client's product visions by researching, conceiving, wire framing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.Provide solutions for cross browser and device compatibility issuesSupport responsive and "mobile first" website updates to leverage mobile and emerging platformsSet and administer the personalization rules. Activities include:Collaborate with team on strategy and goalsWrite custom and complex rules within the CMSAdd tracking on content to determine effectiveness and conversion of rulesPublish effectiveness documentation and make improvement recommendationsConduct A/B Testing within the CMS. Inform the team of options and implement across site if a global element.Create site performance analyticsSet up analytics code and place goal tracking on specific buttons to set up funnels to track conversionParticipate in analytics reviews, contribute to recommendations, implement changes as requestedBring forth ideas to team and develop a regular release schedule of updatesWrite and execute test plan, fix issues, and launchCollaborate with team members and stakeholders including senior members in information technology, project management, business lines, marketing, and electronic commerce.Ensure relevancy with changing coding trends and technologies by belonging to various technical groups, contributing to code discussions, and attend training when necessary.Find, research, and vet third party partners, as needed, to support specialized requests and implementationsWrite well designed, testable, efficient CMS code using the best website development practices. Take ownership in the quality of code written.Support a two way CRM data integration into the website for purposes of personalization and having a 360 degree view of our customersQualifications/RequirementsProficient in.net CMS systems (Knowledge of Episerver a big plus).3-4 years of UX design experience and front end development coding.Expertise in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and the like.Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to team.Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQueryGood understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXBasic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN.Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent business experience; 3-4 years of website development experience. Familiarity with EpiServer CMS is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office,. Strong organizational skills. Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously.
