Job DescriptionLark Hotels is seeking a Guest Experience Associate at our boutique location in Salem, MA, The Merchant.Our Guest Experience Associates are responsible for that very critical first impression our guests have of our properties! They demonstrate world-class hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. It's all about going above-and-beyond to ensure that guest experiences will be worth remembering. This key service role begins with greeting guests and ends in delivering a departure experience that makes a guest want to continue returning. This position requires an outgoing, enthusiastic personality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work without constant direct supervision.Do you have a passion for service and love to put a smile on people's faces? • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
• Handle customer complaints as necessary
• Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers
• Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
• General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-dateQualifications:
  • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
  • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
