is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 2B Special Care Nursery
(SCN) night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU
experience and an active MA RN license. Details - Level 2B Special
Care Nursery (SCN) within a hospital Birthplace unit - 25-bed unit
encompassing L&D, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 ANU
rooms, and a Recovery Room - Patient population includes labor,
postpartum, and newborn patients with an average daily census of
15–25 - Clinician-to-patient ratios: L&D 1:2–3 for evaluations,
1:1 for active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural; Postpartum 1:3–4
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30, every other weekend required - No
floating required - Charting system: Epic - 13-week contract
Requirements - Active MA RN license required — no pending or
conditional licenses accepted - Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
required - Special Care Nursery and newborn care skills required -
Certifications required: BLS (AHA only) and NRP (AHA only) - 2
professional references required for consideration - Flu vaccine
required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted - Proof of MA
licensure required at time of consideration Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
in a Level 2B Special Care Nursery setting - Epic is used for
charting - Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos - Local
candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the
