Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our dynamic team, providing expert dietary services in a healthcare setting. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of setting the standard for comprehensive integrated healthcare services across 42 states. You will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. This position requires a blend of clinical knowledge, compassion, and effective communication skills. Conduct nutritional assessments for patients based on their medical conditions and individual needs. Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition plans. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on nutritional management according to their healthcare needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient health. Participate in research and stay updated on the latest nutritional science research to improve patient care. Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition. Excellent communication and counseling skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Proficient in using electronic health record systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
