registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Deliver skilled nursing care
in a dynamic Stepdown/Med Surg environment supporting patients with
acute respiratory issues, chest pain, urinary tract infections, and
kidney injuries. This contract position is perfect for experienced
RNs eager to apply their knowledge in a supportive hospital setting
that emphasizes teamwork and professional growth. Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown and Med Surg
patients in a 20-bed unit Manage 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios in
Stepdown and 1:5-6 on Med Surg floor Administer and titrate drips
such as heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone Utilize
monitoring equipment including telemetry, CPAP, BiPAP, and
high-flow respiratory devices Collaborate with respiratory
therapists and monitor technicians while interpreting cardiac
strips Serve as a charge nurse or house supervisor as needed Work a
12-hour shift schedule, including rotation of 3 weekend shifts
every 4 weeks and holiday rotation between evening and day shifts
Follow unit-specific orientation and dress in royal blue scrubs
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid RN license Stepdown
nursing experience with confidence in titrating drips BLS and ACLS
certifications required Comfort working with monitored patients and
respiratory equipment Ability to work independently and as part of
an interdisciplinary team Location: Position is based in Grafton,
