Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel M/S Tele RN Nights & EOW – 36hrs. MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS/n FREE on-site Parking 1. Unit Name: Davenport/n5 - Surgical Stepdown Unit. 1. Brief Unit Description: Two Med/Surgical Units./nOne 15 bed unit and one 8 bed Surgical/nStepdown Unit. 1. Floating Required: Yes. 1. Rotating Shifts Required: No. 1. Years of Experience Required: 2 years. 1. Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring (must be able/nto read tele strips), management of Chest tube, NGT, epidurals, and Capnography./n 1. Skills Sets Preferred: Management of Arterial lines and management of/nneo-synephrine. 1. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Patient ratios are 6-10 patients per PCA and 3-5 patients/nper RN. Stepdown ratios are 2-3 per RN. 1. Patient Population: We/ncare for patients after the following types of Surgeries: General, GYN,/nVascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma. 1. Bed Count: 23. 1. Census: 23. 1. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 1. Certifications Required: Current Massachusetts/nRN License. AHA BLS Certification. Access Healthcare Job ID 5-MGB-26133. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
