no mandated shifts . Saint Elizabeth Home, a 168 bed skilled
nursing and rehab center is currently hiring an Assistant Director
of Nursing (ADON)/Staff Coordinator . Responsibilities of a
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Staff Development Coordinator:
Nursing Leadership & Clinical Oversight (ADON Functions)
Supervision: Oversees nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), including
hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Clinical
Quality: Conducts regular clinical rounds to ensure compliance with
established protocols and standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures
the facility meets state and federal standards (e.g., CMS
regulations) and participates in regulatory inspections.
Operational Support: Oversees staff scheduling to ensure adequate
24/7 coverage of our facility. Emergency Response : Acts as a
resource for medical emergencies and addresses grievances or
concerns from our staff, residents and families. Education &
Training (Staff Development Functions) Orientation: Develops and
conducts comprehensive orientation programs for all new nursing
personnel to ensure competency. Continuing Education: Identifies
training needs and implements training sessions on mandatory topics
like infection control, medication administration as well as
training staff on the latest clinical procedures and protocols.
Documentation: Maintains meticulous records of staff training,
licenses, and certifications to meet annual regulatory
requirements. Skill Assessment: Monitors staff clinical performance
and provide one-on-one coaching or remediation as needed.
Qualifications for a Job Title: A degree from an accredited school
of nursing is required. Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse
(RN) license. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at
least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in
a long-term care setting. Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
(EHR) systems and Microsoft Office. What does Saint Elizabeth
