Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical / Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum years of experience required: 2 years - Required experience includes: - Chest tubes - Tubes and drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Care for lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients - Trachs and laryngectomies - Telemetry - Complex wound care - Central line care and maintenance, including blood draws License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS/ACLS certification preferred Must-Have: - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to patient care and safety Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy surgical unit. This unit primarily cares for adult surgical patients with orthopedic and trauma conditions. The goal is to mobilize and rehabilitate patients effectively. The position involves day and night shifts on a rotating schedule. Candidates must be skilled in the care of surgical patients, including management of complex conditions. On-call duties may be required.
