ICU RN Travel Job Details - Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Greater Boston area – New England healthcare jobs) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 16, 2025 – February 14, 2026) - Hours per Week: 36 hours - Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights & Every Other Weekend) - Unit: 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU (MICU) with required floating to Med/Surg units - Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 in ICU; up to 1:4 or 1:5 when floated - Charting System: EPIC EMR - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs) - Current BLS and ACLS certifications - Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience - At least 2 years of continuous experience in one location, preferably in a MICU - Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips - Willingness to float to Medical/Surgical units as needed - Completion of all required onboarding, health, and competency documentation ICU RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU setting - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC electronic medical records - Interpret and respond to telemetry and cardiac monitoring - Collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Float to Medical/Surgical units as required, managing up to 4-5 patients when needed - Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging situations - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Discover the best of New England in Salem, MA—a top destination for healthcare professionals seeking travel RN jobs in Massachusetts.
