Unit Name: Emergency Department. 2. Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area. 3. Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience. 4. Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education. 5. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4. 6. Patient Population: All. 7. Bed Count: 65. 8. Census: 230 visits/day. 9. EMR (Charting System): EPIC ASAP. 10. Floating Required: Yes. 11. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate. 12.
