Weekly Pay Range - $2097 To $2329 Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Specialty: Registered Nurse - ICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years of ICU RN experience required, with 2 years of continuous MICU experience in one location preferred. License: Active RN License in Massachusetts Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Ability to read telemetry strips Job Description: - Provide care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU. - Attend to adult patients with various diagnoses such as sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, and cardiogenic shock. - Collaborate with attendings and residents available 24/7 in the ICU. - Demonstrate competency in telemetry, with floating required primarily to Medical/Surgical Units. - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high-acuity cases. - Serve a diverse patient population with a broad range of medical needs. - Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) charting system. - Work night shifts consistently with no rotation to day shifts required. This role requires dedicated professionals who can deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging Intensive Care environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for critically ill patients.
