Experience: --- 24 months of role experience is required. --- 24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required. --- 1 month of travel experience is required. --- 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Massachusetts license prior to placement start. --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. --- COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted. --- COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted. --- Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted. • No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.
• Shift: Day/Eve/Night Rotate & EOW. Traveler will rotate between the following shifts:
• 7AM - 7PM, 11AM-11PM, & 7PM-7AM Must be able to read Tele strips Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg areas (Dav 5, Dav 7, Dav 8, Dav 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow). Experience must be in an acute care setting. Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Patient Population: In the ED only care for patients who are bordering, in the adult behavioral health unit only the medication nurse, in the ICU care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready. 2 references (Any reference type) Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support) --- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
