Speech Language Pathologist -AnthroMed Education is an organization exclusively dedicated to supporting pre-k-12th grade schools with their Related Service and Special Education needs in Massachusetts. We are a growing team of 70+ bright and hard-working professionals and are rapidly expanding throughout the Greater Boston area. We pride ourselves on delivering profound clinical support and continuing education to our team members and are very different from other organizations. -We are immediately hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist at one of our school partners in Salem, MA. The SLP joining will be excited to provide therapy to a K-5th grade student population and will manage a mild-moderate caseload. The SLP will have their own office space at the school and will be a part of a loyal, supportive staff team. -We encourage all qualified and interested SLPs to apply. Our team is looking forward to speaking with you! -SLP Responsibilities:

• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.
• Support and provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to K-5th grade students according to the student's IEPs.
• Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.
• Work collaboratively to ensure students' needs are met.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on appropriate committees.
• Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
• Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.
• Collaborate with other on-site SLPs on a day-to-day basis and discuss caseload challenges, determine the proper course of action on a student-by-student basis, and maintain accurate records regarding student contact.
• Other duties are to follow. -SLP Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by ASHA.
  • Possession and maintenance of the state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology through the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Completion of a clinical practicum consisting of 100 on-site hours in a school setting.
