Job Description:
Saab, a leader in global defense and security systems, is
seeking an experienced Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to join our
dynamic team. Located in Sweden, our firm specializes in
state-of-the-art engineering solutions for both military defense
and civil security sectors worldwide. As a Senior Staff Electrical
Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and
enhancement of electrical systems that meet the rigorous demands of
aerospace and defense applications. Your expertise will ensure the
reliability and performance of systems critical to national and
global security. Design, test, and implement electrical systems for
defense and aerospace applications. Collaborate with
multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate electrical
systems with other subsystems. Lead robust design and review
sessions to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical
designs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior
electrical engineers and other team members. Continuously update
and enhance electrical system designs based on test data and
industry developments. Manage project timelines and documentation,
ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer
requirements. Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering issues
related to electrical systems. Strong proficiency in electrical
engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice) Expertise in
digital and analog circuit design In-depth knowledge of EMC/EMI
considerations for aerospace and defense applications Familiarity
with military and aerospace standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, DO-254)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certified in Lean Six
Sigma methodologies Training in project management is a plus
