Job Description:
Job Title: Quality Engineer III Location: Mansfield, MA 02048
Duration: 3 Months ( Contract on w2 with high possibility of
extension based on performance) Pay Rate: $74/hr. on w2 (without
benefits) Note: · M-F business hours · Need someone that knows how
to manage non-conforming material reports in an electronic based
system. · Mechanical engineering background that can work
independently as well as with multiple teams. · 5-8 years
experience (SR level role) · Needs med device experience · Physical
requirements: lots of walking through facility Job Summary: · The
Sr. Quality Engineer will apply quality engineering tools and
methodologies throughout the product lifecycle to support
development, transfer, and maintenance of products and processes. ·
This role emphasizes resolving non-conforming material issues and
ensuring adherence to quality standards, particularly in a medical
device manufacturing environment. The candidate must be capable of
working independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
Qualifications & Skills: Education: · Bachelor’s degree with 8
years of experience. · Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
· Doctoral degree with 3 years of experience. Required Skills &
Experience: · Strong background in mechanical engineering. ·
Medical device industry experience is mandatory. · Experience
working with non-conforming material reports (NCRs) in an
electronic system. · Familiarity with FDA (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO
13485 standards. · Expertise in process/product risk management. ·
Conducting internal and supplier audits. · Root cause analysis and
CAPA execution. · Ability to collect and interpret data using
statistical analysis methods. · Capable of classifying defect
types, material segregation, and quality controls in
manufacturing.
