Job Description:
Our client in the MetroWest area of MA is seeking an ONSITE
Consulting Civil / Structural Engineer for a period of at least 7
months, with the potential for extension, or possibly direct hire
in the future. This is a high profile project for a well respected
organization with an established client and requires an onsite
presence in their office in the MetroWest area due to the
confidential nature of the work. The Consulting Civil Engineer will
be provided with training and then be responsible for, but not
limited to, the following: analyzing and reviewing drawings,
reports, and design changes; executing automated scripts and
performing manual pass / fail verification; and performing detailed
assessments and evaluations such as averaging and section cuts. All
applicants will need to be ONSITE DAILY, be able to pass a full 7
year Background Check, and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.To be
considered you must have:BS in Civil or Structural
EngineeringExperience working on projects around concrete design to
include analyzing and reviewing fabricator drawings, reports, and
design changes; executing automated scripts and performing manual
pass / fail verification; and performing detailed assessments and
evaluations such as averaging and section cutsExposure to
engineering simulation / automation software, preference would be
AnsysAbility to work well in a team environment and on repetitive
tasksGood verbal and written communication and interpersonal
skillsAvailable to begin this project the first or second week of
DecemberWillingness and ability to do all of the following: work
ONSITE DAILY at our clients site in the MetroWest area of MA for a
period of at least 7 months, pass a full 7 year State and Federal
Background Check, and sign an NDARequired
