Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This contract opportunity is designed for a Special
Education Teacher with credentials for PreK-5 or PreK-8, supporting
elementary school students in a welcoming and supportive
environment. The position is based in New Bedford, MA, and runs
from February 23rd through June 16th, offering a structured
schedule of 35 hours per week, 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
tailored to students' unique needs. Collaborate with general
education teachers and support staff to provide inclusive classroom
experiences. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional
strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with families and
team members regarding student development and goals. Maintain
accurate records and documentation related to student performance
and behavior. Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher
certification for PreK-5 or PreK-8. Experience working with
elementary-aged students in a special education setting. Strong
ability to manage caseloads with professionalism and patience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to
