of Thoracic Cancer, Global Marketing (Vice President) will drive
global marketing strategy for Takeda’s Thoracic Cancer (NSCLC)
asset(s) across the lifecycle, contributing to Oncology’s
aspiration to cure cancer. Own the global commercial/marketing
strategy and ensure enterprise alignment across functions for key
strategic choices, investment decisions, and governance milestones.
Shape the asset’s development and value story through deep
collaboration with R&D and Global Product Leaders, influencing
the Clinical Development Program (CDP) and other critical asset
components. Lead an integrated, cross-functional global team to
maximize portfolio value through indication strategy, lifecycle
management, and enterprise launch readiness. How you will
contribute: Set the global strategic commercial direction for
Thoracic Cancer/NSCLC asset(s), driving portfolio optimization
through validated growth opportunities, prioritized initiatives,
and lifecycle management (LCM). Shape and influence global asset
strategy in partnership with R&D and Global Product Leaders,
including driving development of the CDP and translating
clinical/scientific plans into a compelling global value
proposition and differentiation narrative. Partner with senior
leadership across functions, including the Global Product Team, to
accelerate asset development and deliver on enterprise KPIs and
value objectives (including revenue targets where defined). Lead
development of the NSCLC Disease Area Strategy and Global Brand
Plan, including brand strategy elements, financial planning,
forecasting, and lifecycle planning to maximize asset value. Own
enterprise launch readiness for Thoracic/NSCLC asset(s), ensuring
governance alignment and high-quality delivery of pre-launch and
launch-critical activities (strategy, key decisions, and integrated
cross-functional planning). Lead insight-driven decision-making by
converting market intelligence into a clear brand narrative;
leverage analytics to validate opportunities, optimize investment
choices, and maximize ROI on brand initiatives. Shape global
managed markets/access strategy to secure long-term brand value,
partnering cross-functionally to inform pricing, access, and
reimbursement strategy (within global scope and governance). Drive
LCM strategy to expand indications and sustain competitive
advantage by anticipating market dynamics, leading scenario
planning, and guiding cross-functional decision-making to maximize
long-term value. Inspire and lead a high-performing team of Global
Brand Leads and/or thoracic marketing strategists; hire, coach,
develop, and retain talent. Oversee global agency/vendor strategy
as applicable; ensure effective governance, quality, and ROI from
external partners. Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with
applicable laws, regulations, and Takeda policies and aligned to
Takeda values. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, PhD, or other advanced degree
preferred. Experience 15 years of progressive
pharmaceutical/biopharma experience spanning global commercial
strategy, marketing, and/or franchise/portfolio leadership in
specialty and/or oncology. Significant experience leading
late-stage development, pre-launch, launch, and in-line strategy
for complex brands/assets; demonstrated success in oncology
launches preferred. Deep Thoracic Cancer/NSCLC experience strongly
preferred Demonstrated experience shaping asset strategy in
partnership with R&D Experience operating at enterprise level
with governance, prioritization, and trade-off decisions across a
portfolio and across functions. 7–10 years of people leadership
experience, including building, leading, and developing
high-performing teams and leadership pipelines; experience leading
leaders strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead in complex,
matrixed, global organizations and to influence senior stakeholders
without direct authority. Track record of driving clarity,
alignment, and decision-making across competing priorities and
ambiguity; strong change leadership capability. Preferred Prior
experience in global oncology marketing leadership at Director/Sr.
Director/VP levels with increasing scope and complexity. Experience
across multiple geographies and launch sequences (global-first,
region-sequenced, or multi-wave launches). Experience in lung
cancers and/or thoracic oncology portfolio strategy. Takeda

MA U.S. Base Salary Range: $255,800.00 - $401,940.00 The estimated
salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The
actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors,
including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the
position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills,
level of education attained, certifications or other professional
licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or
from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary
offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage
requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be
eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based
