Connecting. Growing together. /n The Director of Acct Mgmt for the
United Healthcare (UnitedHealth Care) Key Accounts is responsible
for supervising the Account Management staff who are tasked with
customer retention within the 100-5,000 employee range across New
England. /n Primary Responsibilities: /n /n - Manage and monitor
client assignments as well as train the account management staff,
new hires and ongoing /n - Set team strategy to achieve and surpass
goals, and consistently develop and manage staff /n - Relationship
Building: /n /n - Build and maintain key client and producer
relationships /n - Develop and maintain key internal relationships
/n - Present a positive image of UnitedHealth Care to the
marketplace /n /n /n - Product Knowledge: /n /n - Detailed
understanding of all UnitedHealth Care products, services and
solutions across all health plan sites /n - Working knowledge of
Enterprise/ancillary product lines /n - Ability to identify and
communicate the need for improvements in UnitedHealth Care products
and services /n /n /n - Healthcare Knowledge: /n /n - Understands
and can communicate goals, operating principles, strategies and
competitive position of UnitedHealth Care /n - In-depth healthcare
knowledge, understands important trends /n - Demonstrates knowledge
of competitor's strengths, weaknesses and strategies /n /n /n -
Financial and Underwriting: /n /n - Understands financing
methodologies and strategies (fully insured, ASO) /n - Thorough
knowledge of UnitedHealth Care underwriting principles and
practices /n - Possesses basic math skills /n - Can explain and
justify a renewal rate to customers /n /n /n - Customer Focus: /n
/n - Ability to successfully support implementation of client
accounts /n - Consistency models a customer-focused approach /n -
Effectively manages difficult service situations to a positive
result /n - Ability to deal with and meet externally with
sophisticated customers and brokers/consultants /n - Anticipates
problems and develops contingency plans /n - Ability to customize
existing marketing tools to meet the individual needs of a client
/n - Willingness to attend external client, broker and industry
events on regular basis /n /n /n /n You’ll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: /n /n - Sales
Insurance License Maintained by Law (or willing to become licensed
within first 60 days of hire) /n - 7 years in a healthcare sales or
account management /n - 5 years of experience working with
brokers/consultants /n - 5 years of proficiency in Microsoft Suite
including word, PowerPoint, excel /n - Willingness to travel as
required /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n - 7 years of people
management experience /n - 5 years of experience meeting sales
goals /n - Solid working knowledge of business planning and
financial/underwriting acumen /n /n The salary range for this role
is $90,000 to $195,000 annually based on full-time employment. Role
is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay
is based on several factors including but not limited to local
labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
